I have my interests and I’m a film actor. The first film I done, I act myself and English people done it called ‘Bhowani Junction’. Made in 1956, English people made that film. Then I been doing bits and bits, you know in the foundry and if anyone offered me job, part-time, filming I been doing also. One film made called ‘Run For Your Life’, English people made it. I done little bit part in that. Very old film; black and white. Another film I done ‘Silverscreen’, and Mr Lodhi he took part a little in ‘Silverscreen’. He done a couple of other films also Mr Lodhi. Then ‘Keep Smile’ another film, Mr Lodhi and myself took part.
Last year they made ‘Mischief Nights’, the film called Mischief Nights’ and that will be released this year. (It was released in November 2006 at the Leeds International Film Festival). English people made that one and I have three parts inside that one. Another one a couple of weeks ago, they were shooting but they didn’t give a name to that film yet, they were shooting at Leeds University. I took part of granddad and they give me a wife and they give me a daughter and a son-in-law. I done that. I have a very interesting job for filming and photographing. I’m retired myself. If somebody say, “You go London” I take camera and I feel no initial tiredness. I like to do this and age is nothing. In the olden days we never counted age, but over 75 was old. This is my story my dear.
