We came along to Belle Vue stadium in June 2010 to record the passions of many of the Wildcats supporters

We spoke to many many fans who were more than willing to tell us why they love their club so much and what keeps them coming back. Favourite games to be proud of include getting to Wembley after beating St Helen's and winning the Yorkshire Cup during the 1960s golden era. The most memorable players named were brother Neil and Don Fox, Derek Taylor, Harold Pointer and David Topliss, with Sam Obst being mentioned from the current squad - although as one fan commented there have been 'too many to mention over the years'.

Memories of the Belle Vue stadium are fond ones. Despite associating the ground with getting wet when it rained, supporters are quite rightly very proud that there ground has the 'flattest, fairest playing surface' as they see it in Super League. One Wildcats fan put it in simple terms - 'it might be a dump but it's our dump'!
