'Carnival snapshot' was a way of collecting memories and stories, thoughts and opinions of Carnival in the past and present in one day of interviews. They were obtained by approaching carnival go-ers on the day, and asking them short questions about carnival. Their responses were recorded on handheld audio recorders, camcorders or memory cards. The material from this collection has be edited and hosted online.
This was an unique way of working and has provide a rich variety of contributions. This work has enabled WYAS to expand and bring to life some of the documents in its collection.
