The Our Stories project is dedicated to fully representing the people of West Yorkshire through the collection of their memories - and what better way to do this than explore the rich sporting landscape that our region has to offer!

Anne Lister of Shibden Hall (1791-1840) was a remarkable woman who has left an even more remarkable written legacy, which intrigues and inspires people all over the world.

We are pleased to announce West Yorkshire Archive Service's involvement in a fascinating new project carried out by The Thackray Museum in Leeds.

The West Yorkshire Our Stories project aims to offer training and support to community groups and, as part of this, we have set up the Network Group.

We have now begun work on our new and exciting three-year project 'West Yorkshire Our Stories'.
