The Women in Worship Conference was held by Bradford Trident's Women's Network in conjunction with the Faith Forum. The inaugural Women's Faith Forum was held at the Mayfield Centre on Thursday 21st September 2006.
Speakers from different faiths had been set the question "What does your faith mean to you?":
Sarpeet Kaur, a Leeds University student, represented the Sikh community.
Mrs Lad provided a Hindu perspective.
Awais Dominic Murghl, a Development Worker from Touchstone Methodist Church, gave an interesting Christian account from her Pakistani upbringing.
The Women in Worship event was organised to give women of all faiths the chance to share their experiences and how their faith affects their daily lives. Such interfaith activities help to buildbridges between communities and promote understanding.
